Ranks provide access to unique perks, and Quality of Life upgrades. Rank upgrades give you the option to improve your rank as you continue to play. Cosmetic items allow you to be unique in how you look without affecting the balance of the game. Perks can aid in your grind, however, they do not harm the economy.
